Casting voiceover talent for a scripted action/comedy podcast pilot about a scientist and a retired special forces veteran who team up to save the world from a deadly outbreak. Producer states: “Here’s the scope of the entire project if the pilot gets the green light: The first season consists of five episodes including the pilot. There are three planned seasons for this storyline. Illustrated artwork and marketing materials will visually represent cast/characters meaning your appearance will be taken into consideration for the project.”
Dr. Fox (Voiceover): Female, 30-35. A virologist raised in London, Dr. Fox is as talented as she is beautiful. As a child she was fascinated by medicine and helping people which resulted in a lifelong dedication to science. She’s an optimist and believes in the good of humanity but don’t let her PhD fool you; she’s no pushover. On the run through rugged terrain with a dangerous enemy lurking in the shadows, she leans on the teachings of her beloved uncle and proves to be a natural survivalist. Note: Illustrated artwork and marketing materials will visually represent cast/characters, so appearances will be taken into consideration. Remote voiceover sessions begin in May for the pilot episode. If the pilot gets the green light after completion, voiceover sessions will pick back up in August for the rest of season one (five episodes total including the pilot).
Pays $500 for the pilot episode, which runs about 15-20 minutes (15 pages). Voiceover capture for the role of Dr. Fox is estimated to take four-six hours but due to flexibility and remote capture (producer is based in L.A.) this does not have to happen in one day. Equipment can and will be provided to record remotely.
