Casting a commercial for a well known global fast food brand, specifically for yodelers but open to other suggestions as below. Note: “Are there any young cool guys out there that can actually yodel? Perhaps they’re beatboxers, professionally trained singers, opera singers (who don’t look like opera singers!), spitters, scat artists or sea shanty singers who you think have the vocal dexterity to learn this yodeling skill quickly for the shoot?”

Chris (Male, 25–32 Years) (Lead): 25-32. Is in his garage fixing his boy racer car. Interesting, real faces please; he’s cool and urban except…. he and his mates yodel instead of speaking; are there any young cool guys out there that can actually yodel?; perhaps they’re beatboxers, professionally trained singers, opera singers (who don’t look like opera singers!), spitters, scat artists or sea shanty singers who you think have the vocal dexterity to learn this yodeling skill quickly for the shoot?; make notes in the comments; our characters must feel like the furthest thing from yodelers you could get. We need to be authentic and true to this. It’s kind of like the concrete cowboys of Philadelphia; their unexpectedness within their environment makes them immediately interesting; if you had this on mute you’d think you were watching a grime video; see ref pics attached; these are cool kids; they dress cool. Bright colors bold patterns; they aren’t hipsters though; hipsters probably would think yodeling is ironically cool; these are real, urban Londoners – they just happen to yodel; the characters in the ad have no idea what they are doing is bizarre. It’s second nature; and that comedic tension is where the funny is. So, our actors need to do two things: play the straight deadpan part, but also be able to yodel like an Alpine Don; it’s like a comedy double act in one person.

BSF: £400. Usage: 1 year UK + ROI = £10,000. Service fees: BSF (TV / STILLS / DIGITAL / PR). Featured Artists, Secondary Artist, Walk ons: £400 + £42.25 (12.07% holiday pay) /day (Shooting days to be 10 hours inc. 1 hour for lunch, excluding travel to and from the shoot location/ set). Fees will not be paid for travel time or early /dawn calls. Overtime – 20% of BSF per hour over and above the 10 hour shoot day. Wardrobe – £50 per session. No additional allowance for personal wardrobe items used. Recalls – £50 per session. ADR VO recording – £250ph. Total Featured Buyout Fee: Featured Artists: £10k.
