Soon after, Drew becomes reclusive until the day he meets Amber who is strangely able to relate to his pain. However, when even stranger events begin to unfold Drew begins to experience odd apparitions which at first glance appear to resemble Amber but only a few short months later it becomes obvious to those who witness this ghostly figure that it is a sign, a sign foretelling the fate of someone new.
